TT-BMI @ FHNW SDG-Modul
From 9 to 13 February 2026, the university-wide module “The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals” will take place. This spring semester edition will take the form of an innovation workshop in which an interdisciplinary group of FHNW students will go from theory to practice and develop ambitious innovation ideas for sustainability together with organisations.
The theme of the upcoming spring semester 2026 is dedicated to the design of more resource efficiency and sufficiency in urban areas and at the site level – with a special focus on Basel. The module will take place directly at the Frank-Areal in Basel and will be carried out in cooperation with IWB, Frank-Areal and other relevant stakeholders.

Elective in Spring 2026 within the tri-national Bachelor in International Business Management at the FHNW. Bachelor students from any study program can come and take their creativity out for a ride to design innovative business models for sustainability with the Markthalle in Basel.
